CEO # 1.  The instructor will revamp assignments and assessment techniques in an effort to help students demonstrate competency in written communication skills when developing reports of practical applications.

Teaching Methods and/or Evaluation Techniques.  The instructor will require summary reports for additional practical applications.

He will preview the writing assessment rubric with students before the initial summary report and share assessment results with them as they complete each report, emphasizing areas needing improvement.

Students will average 3.0 or higher in each performance category for written communication skills on selected summary reports.
