Management Assessment Plan Statement # 4

SLO # 4. Freshman management students will demonstrate competency in oral communication skills.

Primary Focus: Communication of Results / Target Course: MGT 150 / Related Course Objective: 4

Assessment Measures and Techniques. Management students will complete a case project, in which they must solve at least one complex problem. Each student will deliver an oral presentation upon completion of the project. Faculty will evaluate presentations using an assessment rubric developed by the program assessment committee.

Assessment Criteria/Expected Results. The average rating of student achievement in each performance category will be 3 or higher on a scale of 1-4.
