MGF 1106 - #16, 17, 18, 19, 23, and 29.

 

For the 2008-2009 school year, we collected data sets from fall, 2008, spring, 2009, and summer A and B, 2009.  These data  have an N = 440 in MAC 1105 and N= 180 in MGF 1106.  MGF 1106 was not offered in summer B, 2009.

 

The percentage of correctly answering all items relative to this learning outcome was 69.2% for MAC 1105.  The percentage was 68.52% for MGF 1106 .

Faculty professional development will begin Fall, 2009and will last through Spring, 2010 to address how to promote classroom discourse.  TI-Navigator systems will be purchased to use in the mathematics classroom to aid in classroom discourse.

Student will demonstrate the ability to graphically represent relations and functions along with the ability to interpret mathematical models such as formulas, graphs, and tables, and draw inferences from them.
