Sensei Robin Webb:  The director and Chief Instructor for the Arkansas Valley Karate Academy.  She has a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, as well as a Black Belt in Aikido.  She teaches Karate and Self-Defense as well as weapons.  Mrs. Webb has been involved in the martial arts since 1980, with 10 years teaching experience.

I  After School Program:  Directed by Sensei Robin Webb. We pick up our students from school, making this the most convenient and best after school program in town! if your child is out of school because of a teacher's workday or holiday, we will be open at 7:15am with pickup by 6:15pm. There is time for snack, homework, KARATE, and games every day. Even though this program is designed to teach discipline, your child will have FUN! Don't let just any one pick up or teach your child.

II   Evening Classes - Children:  Classes are held evening at 6:00pm. Your child will be exposed to a wide array of KARATE techniques including sport karate. This training will allow your child to compete, if they so choose. If you do not need the After School Program, then this is the program for your child.

III   Day/Evening Classes - Adults:  For busy adults we have classes at varying times during the week, one is sure to fit your busy schedule.  Days or evenings.

IV  Shotokan Karate:  One of the oldest styles of karate.  Shotokan teaches kicks, blocks, and punches for Self-Defense, as well as Tournament Sparring and Tournament Kata.

V  Kobudo:  The ancient art of weapons.  We teach the Bo-Staff, Jo-Staff, and Sai.  Learn Tournament Kata with weapons.

VI  Aikido:  The Peaceful Art of Self-Defense, Grappling, throws, Joint locks.  REAL SELF-DEFENSE

Testing & Promotion Schedule:  Please note the following dates for registration, testing and promotions.  Times for each date will be announced closer to the date of the event.

You will be notified of your readiness to test.  As always registration fee must be paid no later than the date listed for each testing.  Uniforms must be clean, neat and pressed and all patches must be sewn on prior to testing.
