ORDER TO TRANSPORT PROVENZANO FOR "PET" SCAN

THIS MATTER came before the Court on 13, 1999, on Thomas H. Provenzano’s oral

request for a transport order directing the Florida Department of Corrections to transport him to a

facility so that he may undergo a positron emission tomography scan, or "PET" scan.

Based upon the arguments of counsel and the security concerns of the Florida Department of

Corrections in transporting Provenzano with advance notice of time and location, it is hereby

ORDERED and ADJUDGED that the Florida Department of Corrections shall make necessary

arrangements and shall transport Thomas H. Provenzano for a PET scan examination prior to

October 31, 1999. Thomas H. Provenzano shall be responsible for all costs associated with the

PET scan examination.
