I lived in Japan for two years up until August 2000. This picture was taken in Tokyo in an Izzykia (Japanese Style pub), which was modelled on the Titanic - I think - It looked like a really luxurious ships interior anyway. It was a really classy place - or at least we thought so while ripped on shrooms ........ The reason I like this picture so much is that after the Izzykia we went to an amazing nightclub venue called SpeakEasy in Roppongi and had one of the best nights ever ..... I'm one of the gang shown in this picture. If you don't know me then I'll leave it to your imagination to guess which one.
This webpage started in Japan.I used it as a catchall to write about interesting things that I heard about or experienced. I've since left Japan and am back working in Dublin, Ireland. I will try to add to and update this webpage as often as I am able. There may be big gaps though, as work is pretty busy.
A word of warning - flashy bells and whistles will be kept to a
minimum here. This is a content oriented site, and I don't have the motivation
to start messing around with moving pictures, spinning logos and all the
rest of the stuff that makes a webpage so slow to download.
I did add a background image though. Its one I developed and programmed myself.
