Jami's Page (wood water Inc)

September 11, 2001. No doubt, every person in this country has heard about the horrible tragedy that rocked this country on that morning. If you have an email address, no doubt, your email has been packed full of emails from people expressing their sorrow. I've dedicated this part of my page to that very cause. To express my sorrow. No words could ever express the sorrow I feel for the people who were involved in this cowardly act of terrorism. Please, do something to help. Join the red cross, volunteer to collect money for them, sign a card. Put a banner like the one above on your email signature. I got the above banner from the site: http://www.tandq.com/BeachBum/WTC/index.html

Support your fellow American's, no matter where you are from. And don't let the hate spread. Just remember that although someone may be from a Middle East Background, that doesn't make them guilty of this terrorist act. Many people from a Middle Eastern background are just as American as you and I are. Below is a poem that I wrote on September 12, 2001 while watching the news coverage. If you feel lead to you can email it to friends or family. In fact, you may have already recieved it. It's started an email chain, I guess. Thank you.

911

Do you hear their screams?
Or are they only in my head?
The screams of the living,
The silent screams of the dead.

The nation mourns the tragic loss,
While others cry silent tears.
Everyone stand in shock,
The worst terrorism in years.

Thousands of prayers are being sent up,
While people are on bended knee.
What happened September 11, 2001
Is something we never wanted to see.

Acts of cowardism, acts of war,
Is the haunting war cry.
No one knows what to do next,
Only to recover, we must try.

September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten.
The innocent died on that day,
Sacrificed for what?
As the guilty laughed and played.

My heart goes out to all those hurt,
And for all those that lost someone.
And the people who did this will pay,
When it's all said and done.

Do you hear their screams?
Or are they only in my head?
The screams of the living,
The silent screams of the dead.
