Teen Dream

This was taken from TEEN DREAM magazine.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH HANSON, IKE, TAY, AND ZAC TALK TO TEEN DREAM ABOUT THEIR LIFE, MUSIC AND CAREER.

Hanson was recently in New Your to discuss the latest on their music and career. TEEN DREAM was called in to listen.

Teen Dream: Is it difficult being musicians at such a young age? How do you feel about your worldwide fame?
Taylor: It is definitely important for us to be musicians-- this means playing our instruments and writing our songs. We are definitely very grateful for what we have accomplished together. Grateful for what we have.

TD: How do you deal with the crazy things fans do to get your attention-- the letters, the gifts, that sort of thing?
Isaac: We get so many letters from fans
Taylor: Yeah, we get a ton of mail. We kind of look at all the mail and go wow-- this is all for us. How are we going to read all this?
Isaac: We are just trying to communicate with our fans in a better way. We get so many letters. I can't believe it, we got a 25 mile letter from a fan in Brazil. It's going to take a long time for us to read it. It's things like that. I mean you just sit there and go, whoa. That person must hae a lot of time on their hands.

TD: How's the tour going to far? Are you getting to go to all those places you've been wanting to see for a long time now?
Taylor: The tour's going great. We're having fun. We're getting out there and trying to play for as many people as possible. After the world tour, we'll start working on our next album.

TD: Why did you release "3 Car Garage" instead of a new studio album?
Zac:We released this album now because the fans wanted to hear these songs. Fans have been asking us about these songs for awhile and we wanted to five it to them.
Isaac: Yeah, we feel good about these songs. They are what they are. The songs are independent recordings, nothing glamorous. We didn't spend hours and days on vocals and things like that. Maybe we spent for hours per song in the garage with an eight track recorder. And that's really all it is. Nothing more, nothing less. We're musicians, and we focus on our music. That's what we do.

TD: How do you see yourself a year from now?
Isaac: We don't know what's going to happen in the future with Hanson, but right now we want to continue making music. Music is important to us, whatever happens, we will still make music.
