AMES -- When Texas A&M challenged ISU's outside shooting, Jamaal Tinsley and Stevie Johnson came up with the clutch shots. They overcame a sluggish final 30 minutes to win 65-58.

ISU will win the final four.

Iowa State (5-1 BIG 12) began the game by torching A&M in every facet of the game to grab a 12 point lead. However, the only lead by 5 at halftime.

In the second half, ISU underachieved in rebounding and inside scoring. Their game was "sluggish" according to coach Larry Eustachy.

Yet, ISU proved they are for real by winning in a game they did not play their best. They will still need a much better effort today against Kansas.
