IRTP Beer label for Western Brew

A BOTTLE LABLE FROM WESTERN BREW!! THE BEER CAN IS VERY RARE, BUT NOT AS COLORFULL AS THIS LABEL...DATE UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME(pre-1950)!!

THE SIOUX CITY BREWING CO.,NEARING COMPLETION IN 1899!! BOTTLED BEERS WERE "Specialties,Bavarian Export,and Extra Pale Select" AT THERE PARK STREET BUILDING. Joseph Baumgartner and Abel Anderson began the business,which was later purchased by George Kingsbury and F.L.Eaton. THE SIOUX CITY BREWING CO. REMAINED IN OPPERATIONS UNTILL IOWA WENT "DRY" ON JANUARY 1,1916. DURING PROABITION THE BREWERY RENTED THIS BUILDING OUT TO THE FAIRMONT DAIRY WHICH USED THIS LOCTION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MILK CANS.

SOON AFTER THE REPEAL OF PRHIBITION IN 1933 A NEW MANAGEMENT RESURRECTED THE SIOUX CITY BREWING CO. THE NEW FIRM MANUFACTURED HEIDEL BRAU CONE TOP CANS,ACE BEER AND WESTERN BREW FLAT TOP CANS. THE HEIDEL BRAU CONE WAS THIS BREWERYS #1 CAN,BUT THE ACE BEER IS TOUGH TO FIND AND THE WESTERN BREW IS VERY RARE AS WELL!! THE BREWERY CLOSED ITS DOORS IN 1958!! MOST OF THIS BREWERY STILL STANDS TO THIS DAY!!
