About Me

it's hard to think of what to write...though it's my favorite thing to do.i am a stay at home mom and have lots of hobbies.gardening, sewing, cross-stitching, cooking, playing guitar and writing music, singing, and making web pages for people. and raising my kids. i'm pretty proud of them and have to work double hard at it because i'm single. all my kids have their own "space" here; i hope you visit them.my dream is to have a harley of my own..and a man with one don't count, so don't be callin me and offering me a ride....lol

the obvious question some want to know is why i'm single. well, let's just say i'v been married 4 times, and now i'm super picky. i'm not a loser, just a bad-picker-outer. (how is that for iowa lingo)i'm not eligible for any welfare, so i manage the books pretty good around here..and i'm proud of that.. i don't drink but smoke pall malls like they are goin outa style, and drink coffee all day.i don't date either cause where i'm from everybody is already married and i suppose i'm a marked woman with all these divorces in my past. well, i'll say one thing about it...i dont't take crap from men and when they marry me, they are only allowed to go to bed with me. lol, is that too much to ask?and for those that think divorce is bad....well you are just lucky you found yours the first time. sometimes now, after about 8 years of livin alone, i think that my god just wants me to himself. that's ok with me, and that's why i don't get too shook about the situation. the rain will wait...i think there is someone out there just for me and someday he will show up..hope he knows his way around the sticks 'cause that's where i live...in the country, with 3 kids. one daughter 13, and twins 11.(one daughter married 3 years ago... no grand children yet but they are thinkin about it..) 2 dogs, a cockateil, and 4 cats. that's another reason i'm single..they all sleep with me except the cockateil! and i don't know of anyone who Max would let have his space.he's my best friend, and watches me patiently as i type away at the puter all day.

i'm a recovering alcoholic and addict and am thankful for that also..i have grown, and learned, and made some of the best friends in the world!i found my god again too...i wouldn't change even the parts of my life that held so much pain..that is where wisdom comes from.you can always find me in the zone playin backgammon in rated room 1 and just hangin out! i really have had the time of my life in this world and hope you have too!please hang around and enjoy yourself....and signin the guestbook would make the ole rain smile..
