Beware of the Sky

Beware of the sky,

With its neverending dome,

You might fly to high,

In awe of tranquility.

Walk on the pale road,

Amongst the other busy heads

Seek the heavy load

That crushes the rose to dust.

Scuffles and Shouts

Scuffles and shouts

imerse the thick air

of hurried shadows.

Car Collision

The radiance of afternoon sunlight,

Like blue of fires that pierce the anxious skin,

Burns through the window at the red stoplight.

I stare, with sweat on eyes, go back to when--

The daisy’s white petal you always plucked.

And then, the dark curtain began to fall,

The blue, swift jay dived down: I quickly ducked,

In pool of blood you float by Love’s mind wall.

As I am here, the eyes, the eyes, the eyes,

They watch and move with ease, pick pock, pick pock,

Behind the tented windows of disguise,

My love, you leave me to the eyes that mock.

The thick, dry, choking air and engines’ chant,

The wheels are shrieking as you fade; I can’t.

A Special Place

The simple sky becomes a blue dome

You inhale the mist from the ocean foam

Sand mounds spread out from under your feet

Sky and ground make ocean where they meet

The gentle breeze dances with your hair

Your mind empties into peaceful air

All your anger and fear fade away

Your thoughts join into pure joy today

Radiant sun beams down on you face

Thoughts of time disappear into space

You ask how a single being could

Make this, but he did and it was good.
