The Spirit of "Her-story"
When once the air was fresh and new
and oceans sparkled in the morning dew,
starlight floated across a new born sky,
and the aroma of innocence spread before
glistening eyes.
Ancients soothsayers prayed to
the "Creatress of life,"
Isis has withstood the test of time,
images baked in terra cotta clay
depict scenes of Diana,
drenched in red, Ishtar,
Sekhmet, Bast and Wadjet
were interwound into the
essence of the universe.
Luna's radiance bids a farewell to
ancient ways, but dances in the
glow of tomorrow's embrace through
the embodiment of the four archetypal
elements, which connect the Magik
of every coven.
By the Wiccaning of a new birth, and
the calling of the corners,
the female divine;
Mother of Moon and Father of Sun,
Rejoice, as the mysticism of life
bestows upon all mankind
a sense of wonder,
enlightenment
and understanding.
