The main plot of Catch-22 is that Yossarian wants to go
home. Although it may sound quite simple, it actually very
complex for which there are many subplots that take place within
the main plot. For instance, how Milo Minderbinder's character is
developed throughout the story and how he goes from being a
simple mess hall officer to an international syndicate leader.
