My patron god is Hypnos. I floated around the interwebz, looking for online Hypnos shrines, and I think I found only one that was a part of a hypnosis group in the UK.

THEREFORE I MADE MY OWN DAMN SHRINE. =D

What strange ways my feet lead me on my path of life. I originally encountered Hypnos at age 16, when I got a massive migraine. I rolled around on my bed whining like a little bitch, "OMG HYPNOS MY HEAD IS 'SPLODING PUT ME TO SLEEP ARGH!"

Of course, nothing happened because, why should he help some random crybaby noob who gave no offering? Especially one he'd had no dealings with before?
Fast-forward a few years. Stress, anger, and a lot of problems later, I finally came around and started a serious deal with him: trying to sleep better. Sounds simple? It's a bit more complicated than that.

Hypnos helps me sleep. I sleep much better now... but this was achieved by some well-put advice on how my being a crazy, angry bitch interferes with more than just my sleep. This is a particular problem I've been carrying for a long time, and I have been fighting it.

Otherwise... I have been an occultist for 8 years, going on 9. Though this shrine makes me look like a Greek Recon, I am actually a chaos magician. This path gives me quite a bit of freedom to choose my own path, and to get knocked on my ass like a retard. =D

I built this shrine because I value sleep more highly than gold. In those countries where gold = shit, you can read: "I value sleep more highly than a fat pile of cash." But if you're willing to just GIVE me a fat pile of cash, it would be rude of me to refuse =P

This shrine is dedicated to those who look to Hypnos for peace, guidance, happiness, and sleep. I will soon add some pages on sleep and its disorders, helpful suggestions for sleeping, and a variety of other topics. I hope this shrine helps others with their sleep. I don't expect that I will solve problems, but I do hope to help.

Ultimately, this shrine is dedicated to Hypnos... the bringer of peaceful repose, the god who steps softly, soundlessly through fields of poppy, sewing our minds back together in our soft slumber. Good night, Hypnos.
