Japan Builds An Empire
Japan was no less hungry for land than Germany. Japan needed natural resources and decided to get them from Manchuria by invading it in 1931. Even though the League of Nations condemed Japan for this, Japan still attacked Shanghai, Nanjing, and Beijing. Japan also took Southeast Asian and Southern Indochina by 1941. After Japan had built a large empire Japan entered the alliance with Germany and Italty creating the tripple pact.
