The word 'wizard' comes from the same root as the Old and Middle Iranic 'yazata' or 'yezad', which means 'angel', and a wizard is a member of the Cult of the Angels. The most famous devotees of this cult are the Kurdish Yezidis. Members of the Cult of the Angels are sorcerers, i.e. they employ gifts from the fallen angels, or from people associated with them.
The Yezidi name for the leader of the fallen angels is Meleke Tawus, or 'Mephistopheles'. His proper name is Semyaza. He is an angel, and the Yezidis depict him as a bird. Before the Deluge, Semyaza was a Satan (prosecutor) working for El (literally 'On High'), reporting all human misdemeanors. In Mesopotamia, El was referred to as An (literally 'the One'). El's People look like humans, and are male and female, which is why are called Elohim, not Elim. Semyaza was 'Satanael' or 'prosecutor on high' with seven assistants commanding two hundred Igigi or 'Egregore' (Watchers). His Supervisor was Marduk, eldest Son of Lord Ea the All-Wise. Lord Ea had created humans upon El's request. (This is the Mesopotamian account; the Israelite account equates Ea with El, but all others disagree.)
Semyaza has mistakenly been named Lucifer ('light bearer'), but that imprecise title originally belonged to an enemy of his who temporarily replaced him after the Deluge. This enemy was Pharaon, the son of Inanna, a prominent member of the Heavenly Host who had fallen in love with Pharaon's human father and had borne this half-human child against the will of El. When Her son had been refused immortality, She had left the Heavenly Host for the duration of his life. It is important to remember that Pharaon and Semyaza are not one and the same person.
The Q'uran says that Despair (Iblis) refused to politely acknowledge the first humans. It seems there was a political movement of angels who believed that the new creations should be made of starfire, that their earthliness was repugnant. Semyaza belonged to this movement, and may have led it. Despair was banished from El's court, but whispered to the peacock (Semyaza), who spoke to the serpent (Ea), and Ea became worried for His children. Despair entered the Garden of Eden in the mouth of Ea, and from the mouth of Ea whispered to Eve. She learned of Ea's fear that El intended to leave humans as they were.
The Bible describes Eve's tempter as a 'whisperer', and the term has come to mean 'serpent' in Hebrew. El expelled Ea and took away His power of flight as punishment for despairing that humans would ever be granted full functionality and eternal life, and for encouraging them to get it for themselves. Mesopotamian folklore states that the serpent had been Eve's favourite companion, and suggests that Ea was the Father of her first son, Cain, which made him a 'daemon' or half-human.
Semyaza can aptly be called a 'devil', for the fallen angels are called 'daevas' (shining ones). But Ea, who disliked the fallen angels, has been referred to as 'Deos' and 'Diwa' (Shining One). All the Ancient Ones, good or bad, were illuminated, and the term 'devil' is as confusing as 'Satan', which means 'prosecutor' or 'accusor', and can refer to anyone. And a 'Bel-zebub' (Lord of War) is a military general. The Bel-zebub of Ea's Brother Ellil was His Son Ninurta. His double-headed eagle symbol is still used today. It may be the symbol for any Bel-zebub.
Ea and His younger Son Ningizidda are represented by the caduceus, which indicates Ea's dual heritage from a geneticist Mother and an astronautical Father. Ea's association with serpents may be due to His knowledge of antivenoms and of the DNA spiral. It is common knowledge that in ancient Mesopotamia 'serpent' was a euphemism for 'dragon'. A dragon seems to have been one of two ancient factions in Heaven, one scaled and the other feathered. The scales and feathers may have been garments. It is possible that the scaled 'dragons' of old acted as servants to the feathered type. It appears that one group knew the secrets of the genome while the other knew the secrets of the atom and were associated with the sun. Dragon imagery is used also to signify flying ships. Ea and His Sons are associated with the red dragon symbol, and probably their ships were red in colour.
Being half 'dragon', Ea could not become Leader of the Ancient Ones who visited Earth. His Half-Brother Ellil (also called Rimmon in the Middle East), was not of mixed descent and became Leader instead. There seems to have been also rivalry over Ellil's intended Lady, who married Ea but who remained officially Ellil's Consort as tradition required. Ea remained in exile on earth, and His angels were called the Adonai. However, it is claimed that Ea was forgiven, and when Ellil left the planet to Marduk, Ea left also.
Jesus prayed to our Father (consistently Ea in Mesopotamian mythology) whose will was done in Heaven, recognizing Ea as the Lord of the current precessional era. However, He called to El upon the cross, and it is El, Bearer of the water of eternal life, who will reincarnate and judge all humans. Most of the people judged will not receive ageless bodies, but will die, perhaps to be reincarnated at a later date, as we die now.
Christian theology suggests to me that Ea sought a truce with El, offering an anointed sacrifice in return for a promise that eternal life (not continuation of the soul after death and its possible reincarnation, which we already have, but prevention of physical aging) would be bestowed upon those of us who are deserving. They were, however, required to cease all efforts to attain immortality for themselves, and were to reject all knowledge which led to immortality.
At the tower of Babel, El assigned to Inanna supervision over the ancestors of the Fae, Japhethites whose Semitic priests became the wizards of northern Europe. After Inanna left the court of El, the wizards of the Fae were given forbidden knowledge to keep safe. After the sacrifice of Jesus, they destroyed its records and renounced the science which they had hidden for thousands of years. The wizardry disbanded completely and its members became Christians.
According to the Yezidis, the seven assistants of Semyaza, in charge of the Watchers monitoring human activity, were called the 'haftan' or 'hafgan'. Interestingly, a hero in the mythology of the wizards had to battle an enemy named Hafgan. Four members of the hafgan reported to El that the Watchers were mating with humans. They were rewarded by becoming archangels, and the hafgan was reduced to three.
The hero who battled Hafgan acted on behalf of Pharaon, son of Inanna. It seems that before the wager over Jesus there was a wager over this hero, who had to pass a test to ensure Pharaon's rule over the fallen angels: he was required not to strike when the enemy was down. It seems that the hero was fighting to install Pharaon and that the hafgan were fighting to keep Semyaza as Marduk's assistant.
Ea despised the Cult of the Angels. He was the God of Moses, and Mosaic Law does not speak well of wizards. There was a rivalry between Ea and Inanna. She had plied Him with drink, and while He had been under its influence She had taken His records. Since the wizards of northern Europe had worshipped Ea back in Mesopotamia, they were regarded by Him as traitors. They had converted to the worship of Inanna when they had become priests to the Fae, who adored Her. And they had joined the Cult of the Angels because Inanna's son had been placed over the fallen angels.
Both Ea and Inanna gave advanced science to human beings, but only under controlled circumstances. The most valuable and dangerous science was the Secret of Life. Forbidden science is associated most strongly with Ea's second son, Ningizhidda. The knowledge of genetics was given to humans only as a sacred trust with many conditions attached. To the wizards of the north it was the Deep Magic that had a life of its own, and no one was ever permitted to use it. Both Ea and Inanna knew that with this science humans might one day acquire for themselves eternal life. They knew that humans were not civilized enough to control such knowledge. Therefore they placed the knowledge in the hands of a few disciplined humans whom they trusted to keep it hidden, to be brought out for use in a more advanced era.
Humans were able to extend their lifespan by drinking menstrual blood from women of daemonic lineage. For Marduk worshippers these were women of Cain's lineage. For Inanna worshippers these were women of Pharaon's lineage. Or they might use blood from female descendants of the fallen angels under Semyaza who had mated with humans. The drinking cup used symbolized the wombs of these women. The blood was believed to contain traces of the substance which prevented the Ancient Ones from aging. This substance may have been a combination of various elements, including manna and 'starfire', a derivative of gold also known as the Alchemists' Stone.
In Fae mythology, the Cauldron of Rebirth was a gift to the Fae from a giant. Half-humans ('daemons' or 'genii') were purported to be giants, the result of unions between humans and exiles from El's court. They lived at the same frequency as their immortal parents, but eventually died. Unlike the angels and the Heavenly Host, who were entirely illuminated, the half-humans were merely illuminated within so that their eyes and mouths glowed. This was due to the presence of starfire in their bodies. After the northern wizards converted to Christianity, the recipe for making the Alchemists' Stone was destroyed because it was forbidden to humans.
Starfire was given to our ancestors, the antediluvian descendants of Seth, thereby extending their lifespan. Starfire alone did not bestow immortality, however. We are all Sethites because Noah was descended from Seth. The antediluvian Sethites seem to have been not very numerous, and their orders from El never to integrate with the descendants of Cain had necessitated incestuous marriages among them. Since they were given starfire, the degenerative effects were counteracted. After the Deluge, starfire was no longer administered and the human lifespan was reduced.
Manna did not seem to effect the same transformation as starfire. Approved by Ea before the sacrifice of Jesus, it was bestowed upon the Israelites in the Sinai desert and was kept in the Temple of Solomon. Yet it was a derivative of the ash tree, the species purported to have been the Tree of Eternal Life in the garden of Eden. And like the Alchemists' Stone, it is forbidden by El and has not been seen since ancient times.
The Book of Enoch describes our ancestor Noah not as Lamech's son but as the child of one of the Ancient Ones (some say Ea) with a Sethite human mother. The Bible contradicts this claim. But all of Noah's descendants are protected by the First Covenant. This is El's promise not to bring another Deluge upon them. We are protected also by the Last Covenant, El's promise that by the sacrifice of Jesus the most virtuous have hope of eternal life. And El has a reputation for keeping His Word.
However, the promise is conditional. And one of the conditions is the stipulation that we never drink blood containing starfire. It is clear that our fate is determined by our efforts to behave well, not by our genealogy. These Covenants were made with Ea, by His intervention. They are bestowed upon all humans by the mercy of El and through the love of Ea. The promises apply to every human regardless of descent.
True members of the northern wizardry kept advanced science in sacred trust and under strict control. But there existed in northern Europe a secret cult, originating in Babylon, whose members had never accepted their rules. When the northern wizardry converted to Christianity, members of the cult pretended to do likewise, but they never gave up their ambition for immortality in defiance of El. Members of this cult were called Oimpires. Though not ordained into the northern wizardry, they described themselves as wizards. Babylonians worshipped Marduk, and the Oimpires supported Marduk's insurrection against El.
The Oimpires claimed to be descendants of Cain and of Cain's twin sister Lilith whose line had survived the Deluge. They promoted the story that Ea had fathered Cain. This story confused people who loved Ea and led them to question El's edict against blood drinking. The Oimpires were not the only humans claiming supernatural descent. Legend has it that there were families all over the world descended from Inanna's son Pharaon, and that unlike the Cainites they were virtuous. In northern Europe these were called 'elven' or 'white'. It is said also that they left our world forever, and that in obedience to El they will never return because El does not approve of 'god kings'. The Cainite claimants tried to confuse Inanna with Lilith, but their efforts were thwarted by the elven reputation for virtue. The Bible states that the fallen angels mated with humans after the Deluge, but it is probable that all part-humans left our planet before the time of Jesus, who preached against believing in them. Certainly the Pharaonics will never return.
The northern wizards migrated to northwestern and central Europe early in the fifth millennium. The Oimpires, who were of similar appearance, arrived in northeastern Europe before the middle of the fourth millennium. In later centuries members of the northern wizardry were hunted by Germanic slaves of the Oimpires, while the Oimpires were left unharmed. These Germanic slaves had developed strong superstitions about 'supernatural' people. They harboured a hatred for Mesopotamian features which persists to the present day, and which has caused the persecution of people descended from Chaldees. The Fae, some of whom also had Mesopotamian features, fought back desperately by poisoning and kidnapping the predators, who eventually exterminated them and denied they had ever existed. Yet many Germanics knew better, for their kings had been Pharaonic claimants opposed to the Oimpires. These Germanics fashioned their ships in memory of the 'dragons' in which the Pharaonics had flown away. Sadly, the legacy of the Oimpires' slaves prevailed over theirs, spreading westward and polluting the world with slave mentality and military conquest.
In northern Europe, as in Egypt, the forbidden knowledge of the genetic code had always been carefully hidden, well out of the Oimpires' reach. When the northern wizardry converted and disbanded, all records of this knowledge were destroyed. For centuries the Oimpires sought it in vain, and only recently have their descendants succeeded in this unholy quest. They use the forbidden knowledge of Ningizhidda, the Deep Magic which the virtuous wizards of the north had kept in secret trust for thousands of years.
Upon conversion to Christianity the northern wizards had destroyed all records of this knowledge. They had renounced all sorcery and ceased to be wizards. In northwestern Europe the name 'wizard' was not encumbered with evil connotations because the institution of the northern wizardry had been created specifically to prevent abuses. But it was recognized that the wizards had been on the wrong path, and that they were mercifully saved by their conversion.
They clung to the image of their beloved Inanna with the substitute adoration of Mary, and in this they were guilty. But they worked tirelessly to promote Christianity. Their long struggle to withstand corruption while protecting secret knowledge had made their culture uniquely resistant to slave mentality, and upon their conversion they were free to use that spiritual strength in the service of a religion that brought hope to the world. They believe that when Pharaon died Inanna returned to the court of El.
The time has come to tell you that there really was a wizardry, that it really did exist. Why? Because (1) its sage advice on dealing with evil is needed to combat the terrible developments of recent times; (2) the Oimpires are in positions of unprecedented power, and they must be exposed; (3) the world needs to know what happened when the wizards converted. They were ordered to destroy all records of the Secret of Life, and they did. We are not supposed to know the genetic code; it is against the will of El. It is no human's place to refuse another the benefits of genetic science, and it is El's prerogative to pardon those who dispense them. He refused us this knowledge not because of the benefits, but because of the hazards. But we should know that He refused it because of the hazards.
