| ...the descendant of ‘Big Kyle’ and William Sectier, both legendary lawmen of their times. The Sectier Family is notorious for tradition of unusually tall Texans, nearly all whom have made excellent law enforcement officers. Whether it be the sheriff of a newly-formed boom town, or a sergeant of a police squad, the Sectier Family will always hold their ground. John is but one of the many to be remembered as a great lawman. He practiced sharpshooting at 12, mastered it at 16, and displayed his brawling skills all the while. He’s a tough man, nearly indestructible by normal standards, and fairly strong. He was brought up on basic laws, sworn from young adulthood to guard it with his life and to protect what is fundamentally right in his mind. Not a man to be trifled with, by any means. |
| ...somewhat ‘underexposed’. Though he makes an excellent peacekeeper, Sectier really didn’t have a chance to brush up his social skills while he was growing up. Though he keeps fairly cool under pressure, throw in some close-by emotional duress, he has a tendency to panic. His emotional ineptness and accidental lack of concern for the psychological well-being of others is frequently, and quite excellently, hidden behind a cold-stone face and a hard heart. Keep in mind he is only inept when it comes to other people, not himself. His stoicism is second only to Greyson’s, with the ability to keep fairly cool while the Gates of Hell are opening up and spewing their worst in his general direction. He is the exemplification of the word ‘hero’, endowed with strength of mind and body, courage to set his mind on an objective any carry it out to the fullest of his abilities despite any momentary handicap, an incredible disregard for pain and his own physical well-being that is often seen as a ‘death wish’, and a drive, a force within him that forces him to do or die, comparable with the bullheadedness of the stereotypical Texan. But, there are times when he does lose his temper; he becomes dead-set on punishing the target of his aggressions by any means and in any manner possible, which is never good for any kind of opposition, considering the arsenal he currently has at his disposal with his current employers. |
| Given Name: Jonathan Gregory Sectier
Species: Homo sapiens Date of Birth: Yet to be established. Height: 7’1” Weight: 273 lbs. Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Black |
| Sectier did not join the R.T.A.’s in the same manner Rank did. In fact, Proto actually pursued him, and requested that he quit his law enforcement job, and join up. He’s regarded in very much the same way Greyson is, in that his reputation preceded him.
He is brother to Alan Sectier, a high-school English teacher in Oklahoma. Alan’s actually taller than his older brother, but is notably tamer. Neither condones of each other’s choice of profession, though Alan does less so, as he guesses ‘it’s a family thing’. Sectier’s social ineptness can also be attributed to the death of his older sister, Judith, who suffered of anorexia before it was even identified and given a name. He did not wish to deal with it, so he very simply did not. |
