Janie Goodfellow
She is...
...the daughter of Leonard and Kathy Branson, born 1984. At the age of three, she was forced out of her home as the clincher to a deal that would ensure the safety of the city. For a period of eleven years she was left to her own devices in Carmadagas City. How a lonely child could possibly survive in a place as such is unknown. After reaching the age of fourteen, she was tracked down and brought to Earth by Rank Archer and David Stiles, thinking she had a bounty on her head. As fate had it, those who offered the bounty never turned up, and she was left in the hands of Proto and the like. She was eventually given a name, taught fluent English, as she didn’t really know to speak much, and was adopted into the ‘Goodfellow’ household. Goodfellow was the identity that the five of them (Proto, Tipe, Gyro, Roller, and Protocol) would have to go by if she was to go to school, or get a driver’s license, and so on and so forth.
As it applies to her personality, she is...
...classified as a generally nice, semi-assertive person. She knows when to be generous, and does not come out and randomly insult people. Though she is perfectly happy with how she looks, she is sensitive, and doesn’t take kindly to insults and catcalls. She is notably aggressive when angered, and has no problem with resorting to physical violence if need be. Though she is easily likable and well on the eye, she is often shunned by her peers, like the child who just moved into town, except to a greater extent. She has one wish that runs through her mind at least once a day, and that is to be normal.

Factoids
Outside of the ‘family’ and the people next door, she has only two friends; Steve and Nina. The two longtime friends decided to talk to her one day because she looked down, and, finding her to be a truly interesting person, befriended her ever since.

Before being totally shunned by almost everyone in school, Janie had a boyfriend. Dan was one of those who would get with a girl, keep the relationship until he got exactly what he wanted (not in the material sense), then ruthlessly break their hearts. However, Dan wasn’t able to reach that particular stage with Janie, as she caught him making out with another girl after several months. Dan didn’t get what he wanted, but Janie’s heart was broken anyway. She rejected him, then gave him a quick and violent beating he would not soon forget. In retaliation, Dan spread awful rumors about her that ensured the entirety of the school would stay away from her, but said nothing so bad that she would be expelled. The plan worked, and not many people approached her to confirm the lies. The entire episode did not bode well for her self-confidence...

During her stay at the HQ, Janie became the victim of an accident, the details thereof remaining fairly secret. Since then, she’s been able to do strange things, such as control energy and fly. Her newfound abilities are often compared to magic, the mention of which sends several looks in Tipe’s direction. Despite it being an accident and all, Janie quite enjoys her newfound abilities.

She is a hemophobe. She doesn’t mind the sight of blood in small quantities, but pools of blood get her rather jittery. And being drenched by any thick red liquid remotely resembling blood will send her into a fit...
