Enuma Elish
'Enuma Elish' is a creation myth of ancient Mesopotamia. It can be interpreted on many levels ranging from literal dragon slaying to the creation of the universe.
Many people believe that it preserves old information on how the Earth, its moon and the asteroid belt were formed when a larger planet broke apart.
TIAMAT
recalls the astronomical theory, but in this strangely garbled version the catastrophe is caused by an interplanetary war.
Do not yearn for Tiamat, because this is the name for the place which most of us call 'hell'.
It has been said that in ancient times the name referred to a tunnel, and that 'Enuma Elish' tells the tale of an extraterrestrial mining colony existing on our planet long, long ago –a story which has since become confused with the astronomical theory.

takes this story and places it in another setting, with different characters. The setting is a colony of humans from Earth who establish a mining operation on a nearby planet. The time is the not too distant future...
