Democratic Debates Extra Credit

The currently scheduled debates are:

 

Monday, November 24 in Des Moines Iowa.  Broadcast on MSNBC from 9-10:30 p.m.

Tuesday, December 9 in New Hampshire.  Broadcast on CSPAN from 7-9:30 p.m.

 

Debate write-ups are due one week following the debate.  They should be typed.  Write on each of the following.  Try to give as many examples and be as specific as possible.

 

1.      Identify two themes that each candidate is trying to get across in the debate.

2.      What were the three most important issues raised in the debate?

3.      What do you think the most memorable line in the debate was?  Why?

4.      Which candidate do you think did the best in the debate?  Why?

5.      Which candidate do you think did the worst?  Why?

 

All candidates may not participate in the debate.  The Democratic candidates are:
