TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

The Sycamore School, Indianapolis, Indiana (1994-Present).  Taught seventh and eighth grade history.  Student Council Adviser.  Academic Competition Coach.  ISACS (Independent Schools Association Central States) Accreditation Chairperson.  Long-Range Planning Committee.  Developed curriculum and teaching materials for academically gifted and talented students.

Lincoln Middle School, M.S.D. of Pike Township, Indianapolis, Indiana (1989-1994).  Taught eighth grade United States History (all levels) and special courses on the Civil Rights Movement and the Holocaust.  High School Assistant Football Coach.  Developed curriculum for and taught in the Extended Learning Program.  Participated in the state mentor program.  Led student tours of Europe.

Brownsburg Junior High School, Brownsburg, Indiana (1980-1989).  Taught seventh and eighth grade social studies.  Developed inter-disciplinary American Studies program for gifted and talented eighth grade students.  Supervised student teachers.  Coached seventh and eighth grade football, junior high golf, and varsity girls’ tennis.  Led student tours to Washington, D.C. and Europe.

Lebanon Middle School, Lebanon, Indiana (1980).  Taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade social studies.
