Well I started guitar in
May of '98, but couldn't quite get the hang of it for at least
6 months, so I switched teachers. In one lesson I learned more
than I had with my previous teacher in 6 months, so I stuck with
him. I tried out for my first band a couple of months later. I
wasn't accepted. About a month later, I learned that Alexander
was making a band with his classmate and Pablo(www.geocities.com/blankband),
who was actually a drummer, but had taken up bass for Alexander's
new band. I was interested, tried out and got in. We didn't have
too much chemistry with the guitarist, so I felt it was best to
leave the band. The band broke up about a week later. Meanwhile,
Pablo had come up with a band featuring me, 2 of his classmates
(one singer, one bassist), and himself as the drummer. The band
only lasted for one concert, but it was a great success. Homer
had just left their band, and Alexander and Homer began talking
about starting their own, so they proposed the idea to me. I,
obviously, accepted. We started practicing and held one unsuccessful
concert at the end of spring of 2000. We did not practice during
the summer but started again in the fall. We dropped all of our
earlier songs since they weren't that good. We're now done with
a few GOOD songs, lacking nothing except lyrics. We'll be performing
these song at the concerts at our school, and later elsewhere
