February 14th, is just another day it's true
For some of us a happy time, for others it is blue
To me it is a chance to say
to every one of you.
Words I should say more often,
but seldom ever do.

You've been a real friend to me -
in oh so many ways...
Don't think these words mean nothing -
just another empty phrase.
For whether you have sent me mail,
or phoned or just dropped in
Your words have meant so much to me
and often made me grin.

So many of you are far away
but close within my heart..
Yet in my life each one of you
plays a most important part.
I've treasured every phone call,
visit, chat, or mail you've sent...
I want to thank each one of you
for all the time you've spent.

I'd like you all to take the time,
today and all year through
To think of how you're loved my friend
for everything you do
The friendship and the love we share
mean more to me then gold
I wrap its warmth around me tight
to keep me from the cold.
