These images are from the Pa. lottery CASH-5 game spreadsheet.

This is the input area for inserting new games to the database. A macro inserts a row into the sheet replicating all the formulas across the sheet then puts the game number in col "A" and then puts the date in col "B" before coming to rest in cell C15 awaiting you to insert the numbers that were drawn for that date.

This area is where you can check numbers against the entire history of the CASH-5 game and determine approxamitly what they would have been worth ! Two marco's control this function with the one only positioning the cursor on cell "V10" to insert the number set you want to check. Another macro looks at the numbers in cells "V10", "W10", "X10", "Y10", and "Z10" and checks them against the entire database showing when they match AND approxiamitly what they would have been worth ! As you see, the set of 3,4,15,17,24 have been worth approx. $226 as shown in cell "AH10". Hmmmm....over 1200 games at a buckazoid each for a return of....?

Our lottery spreadsheets all function basically the same having a macro to insert new games, macro's to check number sets against the lottery history, a macro to sort the database and arrange the numbers into the most often picked numbers for the last 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, and all games, a print macro that prints the results of the sort, a macro that allows you to enter any range of consecutive games played for a most often sort, a panoramic view of the numbers that were picked along with a macro that prints the prior 75 games of that view, and a macro that saves the sheet transposing formulas to values to save disk space. Currently with over 1200 entries in the cash-5 sheet the file is over 1.7meg. In the old wild-card sheet I used a look-up table and a macro that would check my list of six different number sets against the database to show me if I got lucky ! The cash-5 sheet is a 5 number lottery sheet, the super-6 is a 6 number sheet, the wild-card is a 6 number with an alternate pick sheet, and the super-7 is a 7 number sheet. All these sheets come with documentation that explains the macros and how you can cut out the database and insert YOUR own state database in place of the PA. lotteries that we use.

These next three links will each open a new window  on your browser to present the views so,  after your finished looking at them simply close the window to return here. The first is the CASH-5 lottery result of the sort macro in the print-out version. We might up-date this next screen shot in the future to reflect a more current date.

The second view is the CASH-5 lottery "panoramic view" as printed out by the print macro.

This third view is the CASH-5 lottery WHEEL spreadsheet which uses 10 numbers and generates 51 games. Like all our sheets macro's do the work!
