Dear Christian friend:
Why do you attend a Protestant church? Can you find logical and historical reasons or even Biblical reasons for embracing this modern theology? Do you attend a Protestant church because you believe Protestant theology is what the Apostles taught the early Church? Why do you believe this is so? Or, have you never been exposed to anything else and Protestantism is all you have ever known? Or possibly, you have you been led out of the Apostolic Faith with claims that aren't historical, apostolic or even Biblical? I speak to you because I desire as the Holy Scriptures state in 1 Cor 1:10, that all of Christ's disciples follow the One Gospel of his One Bride, the Church that he started in Matt 16:16-19.
I say Protestantism is a modern theology because it dates no further back in history than the Middle Ages. Would it surprise you to learn that there is absolutely no historical record of any distinctive Protestant doctrine or idea predating the Renaissance? Have you ever thought of your theology in historical/apostolic terms? Or do you believe that you can just read a 2000-year-old document and somehow gleam the true interpretation of what the writer intended? If you do, so do 1000s of other Protestants who come up with completely different interpretations than you do ... so who is right? Which of the 20,000+ Protestant denominations and Non-denominations is the true one? (Search “Church” in your phone book and see the plethora of Gospels being taught as the Truth of Jesus Christ.) Christ has but ONE Truth does he not? Do not the Holy Scriptures say twice in
Gal 1:8-9 "As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed."
So who is right? Which Protestant church teaches the Apostolic Faith taught to the early Church? The answer is none of them. For none of these modern interpretations possess the whole truth of Jesus Christ. For logically how can ideas invented in the latter half of the second millennium be what our Lord taught 2000 years ago? Since there is no historical record of any distinctive Protestant doctrine being taught before the Renaissance, how then could this theology have been taught by the Apostles and the early Church 1500+ years earlier? It is impossible. Just as before Thomas Edison there was no such thing as a light bulb, before the Renaissance there was no such thing as a Protestant doctrine or Protestant theology.
(If you do not believe this statement, ask your pastor to find just one person who taught a Protestant doctrine before the Middle Ages. I guarantee you he will not find such a person. He will only say "the Bible teaches this or the Bible teaches that”. In essence he is saying; "My modern spin on this 2000 year old document is this or it is that. I can't find a single Christian soul to corroborate my story or who taught as I do before the Renaissance,,,, but dear believer, believe me anyway."
(Please, ask your pastor this question and forward this message to him to contact me. Then see if he does.)
My friend, I only desire to believe as the Apostles taught the early Church no matter where it leads me. Do you? No matter where it leads you? Do you have the courage to do this no matter what the cost? I seek the ONE truth of Jesus Christ. I will not wager my soul on the fresh Biblical interpretations of modern pastors or the theological inventions of the 16th century. I only desire to believe as the Apostles taught the
"The Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of Truth." 1 Tim 3:15
Do you desire to be part of the Church of the living God, the Church Christ himself started? Or are you content to remain outside of it and follow the unsubstantiated and Unbiblical ideas of modern Protestantism? If you are serious about your faith and want to believe what Christ really taught, and not what others merely "say" he taught with no corroborating evidence whatsoever, visit the site below. I must warn you though. Your faith will be shaken. For you will be asked questions you will not be able to answer, (or will not want to answer.) You will be asked for the slightest Biblical support for Protestantism's most fundamental doctrine, the trunk of the Protestant theological tree from which every Protestant idea has sprung.
Most people who call themselves Christians do not want to know the truth. For it encroaches upon their comfort zone. Life is too comfortable in their present state/church. Regardless of whether what they believe is true or not, most would rather not investigate their faith. Most do not know who authored their modern Protestant doctrines and most do not care. If you are one of those people who would rather not be bothered with theological truths; may God be with you. For the Scriptures say:
Matt 10:37"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me."
This would include those who love their current social circle/position in life/church, rather than follow what they now know is the Truth of Jesus Christ, or even investigate who authored their Protestant doctrines, or, even disavow what they know to be false and Unbiblical. Yet if you desire to truly follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, see if your theology is Apostolic, i.e., what the Apostles taught the early Church. I know you don’t want to believe contrary to the teachings of the Apostles and the early Church. See if your most fundamental doctrine is even Biblical. If it is UNbiblical it must be treated as such. And if it is Anti-Biblical it must be rejected.
My friend, do you have a reason for what you believe? Or have you never thought about it. Pray the Holy Spirit gives you the grace to follow what you discover to be the truth of Jesus Christ. Your number one stumbling block will be your pride. Pride either to rationalize what you discover, or pride to simply ignore what you know to be true. Pray for his grace. Pray for the desire to follow him even though your whole life might change. Pray you have the courage to take up your cross and follow him. (Matt. 16:24).
Why do you attend a church that teaches Protestant theology? Do you have a reason to believe this theology is true? Remember what the Holy Scriptures tell us in 1 Peter 3:15:
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
Well, I am asking you now. What hope do you have in this theology of the Renaissance?
Do you have an answer for what you believe? If you cannot find logical and historical reasons for your present theology, ask yourself why you still believe it? Not only is it foolish to do this but this very act violates the Holy Scriptures to give reason for your faith. Remember, just because you have believed something or been taught something for years on end,,, doesn't mean it's true. Have courage if you dare go farther. Trust in our Lord Jesus Christ and be willing to follow his truth no matter where it leads you.
God Bless you,
Daniel

What do the Holy Scriptures tell us:
Hebrews 10: 26 If we sin deliberately after receiving knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains sacrifice for sins 27 but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries.
