3 Questions for your Pastor

Add mother of God to quantum. Do eamil of quantum millenium 1 or 2 n’s FELLOW CHRISTIAN: 3 QUESTIONS FOR YOUR PASTOR

Is your Pastor teaching you doctrines the Apostles taught Christ’s infant Church? Is he teaching you doctrines Christians have believed for 2000 years--doctrines your own Protestant reformers embraced? The answer to these questions is NO, if your current Pastor is teaching any of the following ideas and calls them Biblical or even reformational.

"A Partial List of Beliefs in Modern Protestantism"
The first Protestants (and Apostolic Christianity for 2000 years) embraced none of the following new unorthodox ideas.

=>Baptism ONLY as an adult.
=>Baptism ONLY by immersion.
=>Denial of the perpetual virginity of the Virgin Mary and denial of her title "Mother of God".
=>Denial of the Eucharist as a Sacrament; denial of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and consider it only a symbol.
=>Denial of Baptism as a Sacrament; denial of the saving power of Baptism and consider it only a symbol.
=>Once Saved Always Saved.
=>Protestant Pastor's acceptance of civil divorce by a secular state authority, and on that state's authority re-marrying Christians against what God has previously joined together.
=>Acceptance of Female Clergy by many Protestant churches.

If he teaches any of the above ideas he is at odds with all of orthodox Christianity to INCLUDE Protestantism’s 1st Protestants. That is how far modern Protestantism has departed from the Apostolic Christian Gospel--for all of the following ideas are recent inventions and either rejected by, or totally unheard of by the original Protestant reformers and the whole of historic Christianity.

=>Baptism ONLY as an adult. =>Baptism ONLY by immersion. =>Once Saved Always Saved. =>Denial of the perpetual virginity of the Virgin Mary =>Denial of her title “Mother of God” (theotokos) =>Denial of the Eucharist as a Sacrament; denial of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and consider it only a symbol. =>Denial of Baptism as a Sacrament; denial of the saving power of Baptism and consider it only a symbol. =>Protestant Pastor's acceptance of civil divorce by a secular state authority, and on that state's authority re-marrying Christians against what God has previously joined together. =>Acceptance of Female Clergy by many Protestant churches.

The Holy Bible tells us to: “Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
Have you tested these modern ideas for Apostolicity? Have you tested them to see if the 1st reformers even believed them? I just want to believe as the Apostles taught Christ’s infant Church, no matter were it leads me and no matter what it costs me. I assume your love for Christ would compel you to seek the same. Yet every idea above is contrary to the theology of the original reformers. They were all “invented” in the last few hundred years. If one rejects the theology of the 1st Protestants, then Protestantism as a whole must be rejected as well. Otherwise we are free to believe what ever we want. We are free to say the Bible teaches ANYTHING we desire, regardless if the Apostles taught it or not. If we reject Apostolic Christianity and the teachings of the Apostles to Christ’s infant Church, and even the faith of the Protestant reformers, we no longer embrace the Gospel of Christ, we have embraced the Gospel of relativism and modernism. Essentially saying: “I know my Pastor does not teach the same Gospel as the Apostles taught, nor even as our 1st Protestant reformers taught, but this is truth to me. My Pastor read it in the Bible so it must be “Biblical”! I don’t care if it’s recent Tradition of Man.”

My friend, if your current Pastor embraces any of the aforementioned modern ideas, test these ideas for Apostolicity. Test them for reformationality. Research the author of each idea, and if history tells us its origin and author is from the latter half of the second millenium,,, reject these ideas for what they are, invented “Traditions of Man,” which are contrary to the Gospel of Christ. Contrary to the teachings of the Apostles to Christ’s infant Church, and contrary to the theology of Protestantism’s own reformers! If you really want to call yourself a Christian, is it not incumbent upon you to believe what Christ really taught? What Christians have believed for 2000 years to include your own reformers? Or are we free to believe anything we want as long as our Pastor labels it “Biblical”? The Holy Scriptures tells us: "There is One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God." (Eph 4:4) There is but One Faith, One Gospel. Christ started but 1 Church. The Holy Spirit has warned us of “new” ideas claiming BiblicismXXXXXXXXX: Acts 20:28-30 states: "Keep watch over yourselves and over the whole flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers in which you tend the church of God, that he acquired with his own blood. I know after my departure, savage wolves will come among you and they will not spare the flock. And from your own group men will come forward perverting the truth to draw disciples away after them."

Questions for your Pastor:

1. “Pastor, if you claim some or all of the ideas listed above are “Biblical”, Why do we find that not one Christian soul (to include our own 1st reformers) believed such ideas until the last few hundred years?”
2. “Pastor, since the NT Bible is a written account of the Apostles teachings, how can these ideas be “Biblical,” if the Apostles did not teach them or if our own original reformers did not teach them?”
3. “Pastor, is it your position then, that the Apostles “DID” teach these ideas of yours and subsequently wrote them into the NT Bible, yet not a single Christian soul taught them *again* until AFTER the original Protestants and AFTER the Protestant reformation? Does this make sense? Is this logical?”

If you are serious about your faith and sincerely want to believe as the Apostles taught Christ’s infant Church no matter what cross you might bear then test this Quantum Leap of Modern Protestantism’s Logic. How do we get from your Pastors ideas, past the reformers, to the Apostles who your Pastor says taught his ideas?
