January 4th, 2003 -I'm BACK! Well, rather.. Q-Zone is back.. after what seems like ages of downtime. (most people probably didn't even know i HAD an old site haha). Anyway.. new site.. 100% flash. So a couple of issues.. yea it takes a while to load for you 56kers.. but that's cuz flash preloads everything... so it's like loading the whole site before you surf. But hey.. now that you know... not too bad (size-wise) for a whole site huh? So you must be wondering... whats up with lack of things, old site had so much more... 1) lack of time, 2) LOADTIME! 3) quite honestly, i'm not a flash-master yet... actually, if i decide to expand, i might just use separate flash movies. So then you ask.. weird qing, why don't you just use HTML, since HTML loads while you view, and then add bits of flash. Well.. 1) that defeats the PURPOSE of a 100% flash site... 2) i just wanted to play around with flash and do this. Anyway.. with that said.. we'll see how big i expand this thing later on... for now... take a look around! |
