Happy endings
a few of our guys that have
new loving homes for the rest of their lives.

Rhoda

Griffin
and his new mommy, Marla.
He was rescued from a meat dealer and was in awful shape,
could hardly breathe and was very down on weight. So he came home
and spend the next two years getting healthy.
He is now healthy and learned a lot in his time here.
He's turned out to be a great trail horse amongst other things.
Turns out he is a 5 gaited saddlebred!
Marla became his mom in April, 2001

Thor
17H Trakehner gelding
arrived   from foster care in Ithaca in late
August, 2001. He is about 200 lbs. underweight and has blown
suspensories in both hind legs.  He was adopted by Susan who adores
him and spoils him with lots of TLC that he's lacked for so long. Susan
adopted him as a companion only, but we've received wonderful news
from  our vet that Thor is sound and can be ridden on the flat! So once he gains
some weight he will be out  having even more fun!

Charlie
was adopted in April, 2001 and loved by his new family very much. He loves
his new home and is really showing his sense of humor!

Shelby
Shelby was discarded at an auction and we'll never
understand  why. She's a very sweet mare and  loves people, especially kids.
She has now almost lost her sight  completely, but it hasn't slowed  her down.
Her new mom, Janie and her husband still trail ride her  with her new horsey buddy, Babe.

Dominic
