Now that we have all of the essential parts, our metal monster is starting to come together.

Thanks to PC Titanium for the Titanium gauze which we need for the shell(not yet underway).

The Chassis begins to take shape...

Thanks to Bill Moody at Rushlift Mechanical Handling of Bishop Auckland, for his
endless patience while we decided which wheels would work best on the beast.

....prior to the final (hopefully) tubular steel box section construction....

Thanks must go to Lynn, Sarah, Nicky and Dougie at Ashdale Healthcare
for supplying us with  wheelchair motors, and their essential speed controllers.

Thanks for the brilliant service from Penny & Giles when their circuit diagram for the
speed controller appeared by fax almost before I had put the phone down
.

.....which we started on with little delay!

Yes, we do realise that the hardboard flipper might not be strong enough!

Thanks are owed to B S & P Bearings of Bishop Auckland for the time and effort they
contibuted to our endeavours, and for the wheels and drive pulleys.
