As more fishermen heard of the club and what it was trying to accomplish they joined to put this effort into operation. As of this date the Saginaw Bay Walleye Club has raised over $55,000 for the operation of the reading ponds. The Michigan Walleye Tour is now the main fundraiser for this project.
