With US Coast Guard Master Captain Mickey Maynard  Mickey Maynard has over 40 years experience fishing on Lake Champlain and in the Adirondack region's many rivers, lakes and ponds. He has also spent countless hours fishing on Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River and the Hudson River from Troy to New York City. Mickey’s a US Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officer with an assistance towing endorsement. He’s also a freelance outdoor sports writer who has published fishing articles in the Lake Champlain Weekly, the Press Republican and the New York Outdoor News. Mick has fished with Champion bass anglers like Scott R. Martin and David Dudley. Lake Champlain Lake Trout and Atlantic Salmon Charters Lake trout and Atlantic salmon fishing is best from mid April to early June and again from mid September to late November! The cost for an eight-hour fishing trip on Lake Champlain aboard our fully equipped 25' 2004 Bayliner Classic Cruiser is $375.00 for up to 4 people. Light snacks and beverages are provided, as is all necessary equipment and tackle. Four or six-hour trips are also available. We guarantee fish on eight-hour trips or your next charter is free! Lake Champlain Guided Bass and Pike Fishing trips Our bass and pike fishing trips begin in early April and continue through early November. Our versatile 18' Lund Alaskan can easily get into the necessary tight spots and can comfortably accommodate two anglers and the guide. A third person may be approved if all three anglers are experienced. The cost for a guided eight-hour trip aboard the Lund is economically priced at $250.00! Again, Four or six-hour trips are also available. Again, we guarantee fish on an eight-hour outing or your next trip is free! We also provide a $125.00 per day guide service for visiting anglers like tournament bass fishermen who have their own boat and simply want to be shown around the hot spots or shown a few productive Lake Champlain techniques. Lake Ontario and Hudson River Marathon Fishing Excursions   In addition to our Lake Champlain fishing excursions we offer three-day overnight marathon fishing itineraries to Lake Ontario and the Hudson River. Spend three days and two nights on our spacious Classic Cruiser on Lake Ontario fishing for chinook and coho salmon or brown trout, lake trout, walleye or bass. We also do three-day marathon trips to the Hudson River following the spring striped bass spawning migration from Manhattan to the Troy Dam. We are very familiar with the lower Hudson River from Croton Point to New York City where excellent striper and blue fishing occurs from March through November. We know Eastern Lake Ontario as well and we will provide an on the water experience that any angler will remember for a lifetime. Our Classic Cruiser features a clean head, fresh comfortable sleeping berths, and a modern galley with stove, microwave and refrigerator for hearty meal preparation. We can accommodate two anglers and the guide in style, saving lodging and meal expenses while maximizing the clients time on the water.
