My hubby and two of our grand-daughters amidst the lavender
and the BEES

Taken standing under the tree that can be seen peeping out
in the photo above
Still under the same tree.
This spot now has an area set aside for picnics, we are looking
towards the Oil Extracting Shed.
Oil from this farm is now sent all round the world
Hubby and the girls heading off to take the "Grand Tour" of the
extracting shed.
I stayed behind and enjoyed a cup of coffee on the patio of the
coffee shop - I enjoyed that very much. 
"Grand Tours" are not my scene!
We first came across the lavender field about 20 years ago, when it was
just a small family farm experimenting with lavender.
It is situated on the top of a small mountain, up a dirt track and quite
isolated.
While standing in awe at the beauty around us we didn't hear the owner
arrive, he kindly invited us in to wander among the bushes.
Today it is a thriving business and fast becoming a tourist attraction.
