The current Islamic government in Iran is the religious copy of the Shah’s brutal dictatorship. Similar illegitimate scenarios are going on in Iran in recent years.

  • The Imam (Velayat-e-Faghih) is the religious version of the Shah (Khod-eye-Gone).
  • Hezbollah is the religious version of the Shah’s single political party, Rastakhiz.
  • Savama is the religious version of the Shah’s secret police force, Savak.
  • Hezbollahis, the followers of the Islamic dictatorship and Savama, is the religious version of Shahollahis, the left over of the Shah's dictatorship and Savak.

The Shah, who believed that his position in government was divine, imprisoned, tortured and killed people to save his life-time leadership. The Imam is committing the same atrocities for similar reasons.

Freedom and Democracy were the people's primary expectations and goals of the 1979 Revolution. The Islamic government has severely violated the people's rights worse than the former brutal regime. In addition, the Islamic government has caused major economic problems in Iran. If the present regime doesn't make commitment and fulfill the people's goals and desires, the people's frustration and resentment would come to the point of treating this regime as they treated the Shah's government. The people's immediate expectations of the Islamic regime are as follows:

1- Unconditional freedom of all the political prisoners
2- Freedom of speech and conscience
3- Freedom of the press and public media
4- Equal rights regardless of gender
5- Freedom of religion
