IBSEN ADOPTION NETWORK is a private, Christian, nonprofit organization in the Puget Sound area that is dedicated to encouraging the adoption of *Special needs children through education, support and financial assistance to families living in Washington State. We believe every child deserves to have a loving and secure family. Thousands of children in the United States are trapped in the foster care system waiting for a permanent family and millions of children worldwide will go to sleep tonight in an orphanage or alone on the street. Although we cannot help every waiting child in the world, we can make a world of difference in the life of each child we do help through adoption. Together, one child at a time, we can help give children the opportunity to experience the life changing gift of family. Unfortunately we are unable to help everyone at this time, and are ONLY accepting applications from WASHINGTON STATE residents. We are hoping to expand in the future, so please check back with us soon.

*Special needs children usually refer to those children who are older, who are part of a sibling group, may include children of color, if these children are waiting longer for adoption, and includes children who have special physical,emotional or developmental needs.
