Eileen Bochsler - Eileen graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in dietetics/nutrition from the University of Illinois and completed her internship at Central Washington University. The majority of her work as a dietitian was in community health. In 2003, Eileen's husband retired from 24 years of service in the U.S. Army and they moved to Olympia that same year. They have two children (9 and 12 years old) and are finishing up their 2nd year of homeschooling. They anxiously await approval to travel to China, late summer/early fall to bring their nine-year-old son home to Olympia. Eileen became acquainted with Ibsen through their home church and through the Ibsen Adoption Fair held in the fall.
Mary Denning - Mary earned a BA from Whitworth College in Art and Elementary Education and a Master's Degree from Gonzaga University in Counseling Psychology. She worked for a number of years at Family Service Spokane as a therapist and as a volunteer at Crisis Pregnancy Center. Since then she has worked in private practice until found years ago when her husband Mitch and she moved to Olympia. At present she is involved with several other pursuits as well, including spending time with their grandchildren here in Olympia. The Denning's have three children and 10 grandchildren. Mary has not had any personal experience with adoption, but it is an area that is close to her heart as is the pro-life movement.
Christi Duboiski - Christi worked for the Environmental Protection Agency for 12 years. She was a scientist/grants manager/State liaison in the Air Program Division. About six years ago, Christi decided to leave E.P.A. and take on a new assignment-Stay At Home Mom. Who could resist this new job opportunity with all its many perks and benefits. Christi and her husband Marc have two wonderful, high-energy, adventuresome boys (9 and 6) and two dress twirling, bike riding, on the go-go girls (5 and 3). The two girls are foster girls. They are hopeful that they will become a permanent part of the Duboiski family in the future. Christi and Marc have been a foster/adopt family for almost five years.
Ron Stoker - Ron graduated from Western Washington University in 1982 with a Bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Accounting. He married Carol in 1984. Ron and his brothers are partners in the Nisqually Trout Farms, Inc. They have two children Elizabeth (6 1/2 years old) and Nicholas (3 1/2 years old). The Stoker's adopted their children throught Bethany Christian Services whom they discovered while attending an 'Adoption Fair' which was sponsored by Ibsen. Ron enjoys basketball, volleyball, softball and kayaking and has been a 31 year member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church.
