Arnold:"Hey Lila would you like to go to the movies with me, Gerald,and Phoebe."
Lila:"Ohh I would love to just ever so much: but what movie is it?"
Arnold:"Ummm some Space Wars Movie but the effects are so bad it`s even scary."
Lila:"Ohhh I like Space Wars just ever so much."
Arnold:"Really? I never thought you would like those kinds of movies."
Lila:"Ohh I do just ever so much my daddy watches them all the time."
Arnold:"Great then you`ll come?"
Lila:"Of course Arnold can I bring some friends too?"
Arnold:"Of course see ya tonight."
Lila:"See ya Arnold."
Helga was hiding behind the dirty cafeteria dishes and overheard everthing.
Helga:"Haa maybe I can talk Lila in bringing me to the movies so I can be with Arnold."
Lila:"Hey Stinky you wanna come with me to the movies tonight."
Stinky:"Why sure miss Lila I`d be happy to."
Helga pops out right then,
Helga:"Ohh hi Lila your going to the movies too I am going to tonight too can I go with you?"
Lila:"Of course Helga I`d be glad to have two great friends come with me."
Helga:"Great I`ll meet you there."
Lila:"Sure see ya tonight."
Helga:"Bye Lila."
At that moment the bell rings and all the students rush to there classes, Except Harold
Harold:"But I`m still hungry!"
At the Theater,
Arnold:"Hi Lila, Hello Stinky,Hey Helga,
Stinky, Helga,and Lila:"Hi Arnold."
Helga spots phoebe and gerald and says
Helga:"Hey Phoebe you didn`t tell me you were going to the movies."
Phoebe:"The reason I didn`t share with you my going to the theater with Gerald was to advoid teezing."
Helga:"Calm down sister."She said slapping her back "Lets go in and see the movie".
Stinky took Lila`s arm and Gerald took Phoebe`s and Arnold not wanting to look stupid finaly takes Helga`s arm.
Stinky:"Wow Lila you look mighty purty tonight."
Lila:''Thanx Stinky that's just ever so sweet of you."
Gerald:"Yeah Phoebe you look lovely too."
Phoebe blushes,
Arnold:''Ummm Helga you look a lot nicer looking then usual ."
Helga:"Keep your stupid compliments to yourself stupid football head."She said tugging her arm away.
Arnold:"Geeze Helga."
Helga:"What? Would you like a compliment like that?"
Stinky:"Yeah Arnold that compliment really bites Ahhha Ahha."
Arnold:"Sorry Helga."
Gerald whispers into Arnold`s ear.
Gerald:" Say something nice."
Arnold:"Why?"
Gerald:"To get on her good side I wanna enjoy my date with Phoebe ya know."
Arnold:"Alright.Helga you look lovely this evening as usael."
Helga:"Why thank you Arnold and I must say you look very nice yourself." And she immeditly took his arm again. Her actions startled anyone."Come on lets actually go and see the movie." She said.
Arnold:"Off course."
The group walks into the theater. Lila:"AHHHHH!!!!!! lila screamed (in the middle of the movie) I can`t believe the giant alien caught the princess."
People in the theater :" Shhhh were trying to listen.
Stinky whispers into Lila`s ear
Stinky:" Don`t worry miss Lila the prince Frank will save her I`m sure."
Lila:"Ok."
Arnold immediately wished he could of comforted Lila but no he was Helga`s date. He was supposed to be Lila`s date but no Stinky was Lila`s date. It wasn`t fair why couldn`t Lila like him.
After the movie
Lila:" Phew I thought the princess was going to be forced to marry that ugly old alien for sure."
Stinky:" I liked the part where the prince ran in to the wedding and killed all the green aliens ahhhaaa that was funny."
Lila:" Ohhh I couldn`t stand that part I had to close my eyes.''
Helga:" I liked the part where the prince proposes to the princess and she says she was inlove with the alien he just killed but she was really just kidding."
Gerald:" Yeah did you see the look on his face when she said that Ha Ha Ha."
Phoebe:" Yeah it was very humorous."
Arnold to please Lila said something that she probably liked in the movie to.
Arnold:" We`ll I liked the princess`s wedding with the prince."
Lila:"I liked that part to."
Helga:" You would that was the most boring part!"
Arnold:" No it wasn`t."
Phoebe:" It was to mushy for me."
Gerald:"Yeah way to mushy."
And the group walks down the rode chattering away.
Gerald:"I`ll escort Phoebe home. Stinky will escort Lila And Arnold will escort Helga ok?
Stinky:"Sure."
Arnold:"Whatever."
And the group splits up in different directions.
Helga:" I think we should of all walked home together as a group but I guess that would be to hard."
Arnold:"Yeah I guess so."
Arnold didn`t care he was all upset about wasting an evening.
Helga:"Your dissapointed huh Arnold."
Arnold:"Umm no. About what?"
Helga:"You wanted to be Lila`s date."
Arnold:"Ummm."
Helga:"I know I don`t make a as good a date as Lila but I tried. Oh look heres my house see ya Arnold."
Arnold just stood there not knowing what to say "I was such a jurk to Helga.He probably didn`t pay much attention to her. I feel horrible. I gotta make it up to Helga. He thought.
Next day at school Helga was about to open her lunch box when she noticed a note was taped to it.
The note said,
Dear Helga,
Sorry I was such a jurk last night.
I was just being stupid.
You really
did look lovely I`m just bad at giving compliments.
Sorry you probably were
very bord.
