When the National Honor Society was founded in 1921, the hope was to create an organizationthat would recognize and encourage academic acheivment while also developing other charecteristics essential to citizens in a democracy.

Now over 85 years later, the NHS has become a prestigious organization. Its reputation for excellence is the results of years of commitment on the part of everyone involved.

We welcome this eighth class of members of the Delmer Voss Chapter of the National Honor Society at Campbell-Tintah High School. Hold high the tourch and let your light blaze further.

Christmas Project

Coins for Christmas

The Delmer Voss Chapter of the National Honor Society is once again sponsoring the Coins for Christmas project in the Campbell-Tintah Public School. Coins will be collected from Wednesday, December 6 through Friday, December 15. Students and faculty are asked bring their coins to the cafeteria each day at lunchtime to deposit them. The funds will be used to purchase Christmas presents for needy families in our area. We have designated days for certain coins:

Wednesday, December 5 – Pennies
Thursday, December 6 – Pennies
Friday, December 7 – Nickels
Monday, December 10 – Dimes
Tuesday, December 11 – Quarters
Wednesday, December 12 – Quarters
Thursday, December 13 – Any money (coins or bills)
Friday, December 14 – Any money (coins or bills)

There will be 8 jars in the lunchroom, one designated for each participant in the project: Stacie Keller, Marian Sprung, Michael Kvidt, Mr. Keaveny, Mr. Fingerson, Mr. Kulland, Mr. Darcy and Mr. Thimjon. Deposit your money in the jar of the person you want to see DUNKED! The 3 contestants who have the most money at the end of the collection days will have to “take a swim” in front of the whole school!

Please bring your loose change to choose who you want to see dunked…as well as to make another’s Christmas a little merrier!

Thank you for participating and have a Merry Christmas!
