4-17-08 Bremer Bank - One $500 scholarship. Please turn in the application to Mrs. Messerschmidt or Ms. Ulven by April 17th .

4-18-08 Pioneer Retirement Community Auxiliary Health Career Scholarship – High school graduates who plan to pursue a nursing career and been accepted in a LPN or RN program. Preference will be given to applicants who have been involved in a retirement community as an employee or volunteer.

4-21-08 Fairmount Tri-State Masonic Lodge - $500 scholarship is offered. See folder for an New application. Must be received by the 21st of April.

4-21-09 Wilkin County Crop Improvement – Is offering a $500 scholarship to a senior who is a Wilkin Returned by County resident and pursuing a Agricultural related field this includes engineering, food and nutrition, nursing, human resources, and accounting.

4-30-08 Traverse Soil & Water conservation District – Is offering a $300 scholarship. NEW Graduating seniors in Traverse County who are interested in Agricultural related field are encouraged to apply. See folder for an application. Please turn in the application to the counselor by April 30.

4-30-08 2008 Minnesota Clean Air Scholarship Choice - American Lung Assoc. of MN and MN Soybean growers Assoc. in invite seniors to apply for the 2008 Minnesota Clean Air Choice Scholarship. Minnesota seniors who plan to attend postsecondary education are eligible to submit a personal essay on the topic of biodiesel. www.CleanAirChoice.org

Requirements: students must complete an application, must be enrolled and acknowledge acceptance into a 2 year or 4 year program at a Minnesota accredited school, plan on attending the school within 90 days and additional requirements are listed on the scholarship. www.MinnesotaJobs.com/scholarship

College Happenings

4-28-08 Alexandria tech. – College for a day

NDSCS is offering a College Prep Program in the summer. The program is designed to help students develop academic skills needed for success in college and the workplace.
