Art Projects at Campbell-Tintah Schools

This was the 7th year of the MSHSL Visual Art Festival. Five students entered 7 artworks. We traveled to New York Mills on April 30, 2008 to view the artworks and see the results of the judging.

There were 239 students attending from our section. No more than 3 works could be entered in each of the 6 categories: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Crafts, Media Art, and Printmaking.

Student artists were required to write an artist statement for each piece which was also part of the judging. Two judges independently judged each work.

After viewing the artworks, students attended 2 hands-on sessions of their choice followed by awards presentation.
