Christ Gospel Church of Evansville The revival ran for a year or so as
We are a small but friendly congregation and
was originally started
as a tent revival in Henderson, KY. in 1960.
A building was rented after the revival and
Christ Gospel Church stayed in Henderson
for the next two years.
It was then decided to make the move to Evansville.
Again, the move was made by revival
and the old Rosedale Theater was rented.
the congregation grew to the point where
they could afford to buy a church building of their own.
So, in May of 1963 the property at 2301 E. Riverside Dr.
was purchased, and the church
has been there ever since.
pride ourselves in our family oriented worship services.
Our sanctuary is a 3500 sq. ft. area
with wide aisles and well lit to make our
services as comfortable as possible.
We have a fellowship hall with
a kitchen and seven Sunday School rooms for
our children to be taught in on Sunday mornings.
