Italian Easter Egg |

Shadow was very excited to see what was inside. First, we had to remove the golden foil.
| This revealed a large chocolate egg. There is a surprise inside so we opened it right away. The only description was "surprise" so we really did not know what we would get. | ![]() |

As you can see, the inside of this egg is covered with whole hazelnuts. Yum, Lynda really loves these!
| We find our prize in a little blue box. It has been said that great things come in small packages. I wonder what it could be. | ![]() |

There is something else inside as well. A new Palm Pilot. I suppose it was for "palm" Sunday!
| Look, even Babe was able to sneak into the egg. That really was a real surprise. | ![]() |

Actually, this is what we received. It is a "jewelry article of silver". We know this only because it came with a "certificate of guarantee". One person suggested we use it for a bookmark. Another suggested we engrave something on it and wear it as a necklace. It remains to be seen what we will do.
| Here
is the whole package. Where were these giant eggs when we were kids?
What fun!
By the way, the chocolate was fabulous. In Italy, you can take something special to the chocolate factory and have it placed inside an egg. It has even been used for engagement rings. |
