My sister, Maxine, who became a Gelman in 1972, never changed her name, even when she divorced her husband. She was a child psychologist in Baker County, Fla. for many years. She grew up on West Selden Street, Mattapan, and was graduated in 1967 from GLS, then Boston State College in 1971. She passed away, suddenly, in July of 1999, nine weeks after our father. She is very missed. She loved Simco's on the Bridge. Ellen Temkin ellentemkin@rcn.com
