2017 UPDATE: The music no longer works on this site. I will be transitioning out of this site in the next few months.

A special thank you to LadyTex for the beautiful welcome banner you see on my home page. She's truly gifted!

Welcome to Anna's Corner! Below are links to many things that I have written and a few that others have written that I find inspirational. All the music that you hear has been carefully chosen by me to reflect the feelings of what you are reading. I hope you enjoy them.

If you'd like to contact me and you don't have our email address, you may use this email address: annas_corner@hotmail.com Thanks! Or you can like and share my page on Facebook!

This is an award that I received from a true Aussie talent who has passed from this life onto the next. He is truly missed.

The song that you are listening to is "Worn" by Tenth Avenue North. The song reflects how I feel when I look at my Mom, who suffers from Dementia. She was a healthy, vibrant woman until this disease began to steal her mind and body. It's a horribly cruel disease that takes and takes pieces of my Mom, my best friend. But her spirit is still there and she continues to fight most days; she fights to stay with us. However, some days I see how tired of the fight she is. I see and feel that the desperation to stay is slipping away. I know she's tired and worn. I know she won't be here much longer. I have missed my best friend for so long now and soon I will miss my Mom. I'm privileged to have had her as my Mom and that I was able to be a part of caring for her when she needed it.

On 12-13-14 at 1:40 in the afternoon, my magnificent Mom took the hand of Jesus to go Home. She was surrounded by her family and all the love that we could pack for her before she left us. I know that I'll see her again and I'm so grateful that she's not suffering any longer, but I miss her terribly. We all do!

By the way, I have paid for all of the music that you are listening to. I have either purchased the CD or the MP3. Music is an art and I totally respect the artists and would never steal their work. The same with poetry and quotes. I will always give credit where credit is due. If you want to know more about any of the songs or musicians that you hear on my site, please let me know! Just click "play music" below and enjoy. I'm working on giving this option of listening to the music to each one of my pages. The option to play the song will be at the bottom of each page.
