This coalition began as the Timmins World March Planning Committee,
which worked at fundraising and mobilizing women in the Timmins area for
the World March of Women 2000. Our efforts paid off and a large group of
women from Timmins were able to go to the World March of Women in Ottawa.




Since this time, we have come together in a new way. Our membership
has grown, our purpose has changed, and we are now working to promote
equality and justice for women.
