It is oh so frustrating when you think you are the only one in the world like this (I was sure I was adopted or something very horrible, for no one would ever treat their own child this way). I have been to hell and back. If you are walking this path you will know exactly what I am saying.

I found no peace of mind or sense of self until I decided that I was going to be me, no matter who she was. No matter what others wanted it didn't matter any more, I was not going to turn myself inside out any longer to try to fit and find acceptance. When I started to go within on a conscious basis, I found that place of peace that I had always found when I couldn't handle life and people any longer. I believe that place is where the God within us resides.

I was raised in a superstitious family and I couldn't quite figure out how all of these parts of life came together. So, when a class on Beginning ESP was offered in my town I took the course, just to find out what was what. That was over 30 years ago. I did find out I really wasn't crazy like some people tried to tell me I was. What a relief to find other people like myself and to find out there was a name for my abilities. (PSYCHIC)

Years later, I started to seek a teacher, but found none. I did find a Spiritualist church and tried some classes there, but mediumship wasn't what I was looking for. I moved on to another Church more along the Psychic lines that I felt more comfortable with and studied there for a couple of years.

My truth doesn't quite fit into a group mind, I guess. I feel that God is within all of us and we only have to turn inward to find our truth and our path in this lifetime.
