Introduction
Welcome to our History Webquest!!
Queen Elizabeth was in the United States visiting. While visiting in New York City, she stayed in the Waldorf Hotel. In an effort to secure her family heirloom - a diamond necklace, she decided to leave it in the hotel's safe. During the wee hours of the morning, the diamond necklace was stolen from the safe.
The police were called onto the scene. They conducted a thorough search. They discovered the following:
a.) The thief was a hotel guest that was registered under an alias name of John Paul.
b.) He left several pieces of evidence in his hotel room: a memo pad with the impression of the following written on it: Paris, Cairo, Montreal, Sydney, Tokyo.
c.) He also left the empty case that held the necklace in the safe, empty passport folders, and an un-opened box of Ritz Crackers with a note taped to it that read "Catch Me If You Can".
From this evidence , it is conclusive that the thief must have traveled to one of the five cities. Click Here to go to the next step.
