Let me start off by saying this is one of the best albums that has been put out in the last few years. Beanie Siegel is one of the most underrated rappers out there today. He is mad lyrical with what I call a jerk line flow (a flow that just grabs you and commands your attention. I believe that the only problem with this album is the frequent guest, Beans does not stray far from his label mates he has the usual free, YG’s, Jay, Rell, Cam and so on. He also has a hot joint with snoop on there. His first single “Feel it in the Air” was a joint that many of us could relate to he basically chronicles a tale of a hunch were someone close to him is a snitch. Oschino & Sparks hopped on pt. 2 of Tale of a Hustler which was just fire. P. Crack brought crazy energy to two tracks. A classical joint “Purple Rain” that featured one half of a legendary group Bun B of UGK talks of a cough syrup drink that is rotated heavy in Houston. To close it out are the two illest tracks that features to of the illest cats from New York. Jay Z killed but did not overpower Beanie Siegel on “It’s on”, and Cam’ron came hard on “wanted”. Overall the CD is straight fire.
