Topic: Create + Promote Blogs
Now granted, this site is all about teaching you how to promote your website for free, so this article may seem a bit out of place. Some problems with free promotion efforts is, though, if you've tried them, they are very time-consuming, difficult to track results, and the playing-field is loaded with a bunch of other folks who want just as badly to get their message out for free.
Paid advertisements, on the other hand, provide morre flexibility, can be more targeted to your audience and can be more easily tracked. I recently have been utilising paid advertisements that I really did not have to pay for, with fairly good results.
First off, I joined a few Paid-to-Click programs. There are literally thousands of them out there; I'm just going to focus on a few of the better-paying ones. I like Classical-Mail the best - it has a $0.50 payout, which can be met in a few days. Better to wait until you accumulate a bit more, though, as you can only cash out once a month. Another one I like is DonkeyMails, which has a $1.00 payout. The emails from both of these sources are plentiful and worth between 1/4 cent and 1 cent.
Secondly, I joined a few surf exchanges for free. I tested several out for a few months (while my PayPal balance was increasing), to make sure they sent traffic to my sites and that they would be around for a while.
Third, I located the best advertising deals on the exchanges that accepted PayPal (most do). I found that Blog Explosion offers a great deal at 500 credits for $5.50. I also recommend Smiley Traffic, which offers 5000 manual credits for $5.79.
Bottom line, by using PayPal funds "earned" from clicking on the Paid-to-Clicks, I was able to buy a tremendous amount of advertising without any out-of-pocket expense. The only drawback is that to use your PayPal you have to link it to a bank account. I recommend not using the same password for both your bank account and your PayPal.
Please sign up for the above sites - they are totally free, and can benefit you greatly.
CIAO for now,
