1. Write about the religion we have studied this semester upon which your views have undergone the greatest change. Discuss what it is that you have learned that has caused this change and why.

A religion we have studied this semester upon which my view has undergone the greatest change is Islam. Before gaining a large amount of knowledge on Islam, I was very ignorant towards the Islamic religion due to September 11th and stereotypes from television. However, now that I have learned so much about the religion through our comparative religion class, I have the greatest amount of respect for Islam.
The first characteristic of Islam that caught me was that it was a very peaceful religion. They suggest the inner peace that is gained by surrendering to the divine. One of the greatest challenges for Islam has been to adopt from the West what is obviously useful, to avoid what is dangerous, and to continue holding on to what it thinks valuable.

Ok so im ready to go. Supposedly, we're flying Northwest Airlines which should give us $522 each. Thank God I dont have to pay for my own ticket but I am going to be paying for my luggage, my school supplies, and my clothes, as well as save some money still into my bank account to keep me running while im at college. God is so good to me. I love my job but there are a few bitches that we have to work with but hey, its all good, life never gives u that smooth road and im pretty sure when i go to college in a few weeks, i'll have to put up with the biggest bitches. GRRRRR>....butta yeah, besides that im jus excited to get ready to leave. Last night i went out with my cousins Temoana, teila, and atu to Bubba Gumps and drive around maui like animals. Its pretty cool i just wish i got to know her better, i consider her my sister already. I dont miss my brother, i can tell u that much, for all i know, he's a lowdown loser who has such a good job and such a good life ahead of him that he decides to make it less than what it could be but hey, HE CHOSE that road and that road he shall deal with. Besides that, we have plans for Saturday to take Nau out to Bubba Gumps and to the movies with Hina, Litia, Nau, Ryan, Kehau, me, and i believ albert & marvin possibly. Hopefully theres a good turnout so we can all hang out and have some psycho times. DId i tell u that DEVILS REJECTS was the shit??!!! now thats my type of movie baby. anywayz, i work for the rest of the week and hopefully I'll get my loan account setup and my registration for classes set. PRAY FOR ME YALL.

Ok so I'm back. God has blessed me with so much. My damn first year tuition & room & board is payed off thru scholarships and workstudy that I must do. WHEW. God is so good to me. Im excited now to go to Washington cuz i get to get away from these fuckers over here that irritate the shit outta me. And dont mistake me, I love them to death cuz they are the real people in my life BUT i must get away to appreciate them cuz if i dont, im just gon keep on hatin on them. its the 16th. So I got a month left and a couple of days before i bounce on out bitches. Nothin new lately, watched Wedding Crashers last night, some funny ass shit in that film. And i pretty much been workin, hangin with nau christina kellie them and MY dearest albert who saved me yesterday for having a ride home. GOD BLESS U ALL.

Welp folks, Im leaving to Washington in exactly a month or so. Im fuckin nervous as a motherfucker cuz i know for damn sure im gon feel like some dumb bitch from Hawaii who aint worthy and shit but i dont care, ima jus roll wit what God gives me, stay close to him at those times of need, and keep fuckin ruffin it cuz the world be watchin me and ive got one mothafuckin chance to do this and im gon do it mothafuckin right bitch.
